Email. When attaching a resume to an email, using a .pdf file or .doc file type can ensure that most people would be able to open the resume file. A cover letter might be used within the email to explain what the email is about and what it contains. Sending a resume to someone’s private email might not be recommended unless it is requested by the person, as that person might have a business email for that purpose.
Email cover letter example:
Attn: ALM Boby Gray, Jony Darco
Hi,
I would like to leave my name for consideration as [Position Name] if you have any openings on your production.
I’ve attached my resume for your convenience.
Regards,
John Doe

Fax. A cover letter should be used in order to ensure that the resume is delivered to the right person and to detail the reason for the fax. Using the right paper size might prevent your resume from being printed incorrectly.
Fax cover letter example:

Department: LocationHi,

I’ve joined my resume for your convenience.

Mail. Using mail might be more expansive than other methods. Mail might show that someone is more serious about his application than someone using fax or email. A cover letter could be used in order to introduce the applicant and the resume. Addresses can often be found online, on union website or on the production’s website.
In person. It’s possible to drop a resume in person, however it will probably need to be delivered to a receptionist as access might be limited or the person might be out.

I found that there are a couple of things that really increase the chances of getting a job, even now with an economic recession the basic rules still apply.
* Use Titles or Headings That Match The Jobs You Want
* Use Design That Grabs Attention
* Medium Size Resume and The Use Power Words
* Identify and Solve Employer’s Hidden Needs
* Sell the Benefits of Your Skills – it should be pretty obvious for the employer why not hiring you would be a loss for their company
Sure, in any other business, those would be included. But if you start as a PA, honestly people don’t care what your skills are or if you have the prettiest resume. It’s about your experience in the Film Industry
Great post and comments as well. Very nice, thank you for posting.
