Finding the eligibility requirements. Scholarships restrict the number of applicants by using eligibility requirements. In order to qualify for a scholarship the applicant must meet all of these basic eligibility criteria. Film schools should provide the information with the application or applicants can request it.
Eligibility requirements can include, but are not limited to, citizenship requirements, being able to demonstrate financial need and academics requirements.
Completing the application. Different documents are requested with the application and they all must be submitted otherwise the application can be rejected. It’s the responsibility of the applicants to ensure that the application is completed correctly. Schools will help students with their questions, concerns, or need for clarification.
Sending the application. Applications generally contain paper documents that are send by mail. Some schools are permitting digitalization of documents. As many scholarships have expiration date it’s recommended to send the application as soon as possible. Using a service permitting tracking can offer a guarantee that the application has been received by the school and in time.
